From May 2025 I will be offering assessment and therapy in my clinic in Capel St Mary, Suffolk. I can also visit you and your child in your home, in Nursery, or in school.
Initial Consultation and Assessment – Verbal report - £110
An initial screening assessment lasts up to 1 hour and includes verbal feedback to explain assessment findings and recommendations.
Initial consultations include a thorough case history, formal/informal assessment (as appropriate), observations, discussion and reading of reports from other professionals.
Initial Consultation and Assessment – Summary report - £180
Initial consultation as above, with a summary report explaining assessment findings, recommendations, and therapeutic aims.
Initial Consultation and Assessment - Detailed Assessment - £595
This normally lasts up to 3 hours and includes in-depth analysis of any formal assessments, language samples and observations carried out at the assessment session and in nursery/school, and the writing of a detailed report.
Standard Therapy Session – £70
A therapy session usually lasts 45 minutes and will take place in your home or in your child’s school. This is time spent with the child/parents or teachers. The fee also includes time spent outside of the session in preparation of materials, planning, clinical note-writing, and liaising with parents and professionals.
Online Therapy Session - £60
Receive 1-1 therapy online.
Observations in nursery/school - £70
Useful information can be gathered by observing your child at nursery/school and through discussion with nursery/school staff. Visits to nursery/school are only made with parental agreement. Written feedback of observations are provided after a nursery/school visit.
Creating visual aids - £50
For example visual timetables, communication books/boards etc.
Mileage charge -
For home or school visits that are over 10 miles from Capel St Mary will incur a small mileage charge of 55p per mile over 10 miles. For example, a visit to a location 14 miles away from IP9 2EQ would incur an extra charge of 4 miles x 55p = £2.20 x 2 journeys = £4.40
PLEASE NOTE:
Parents are free to withdraw a child from therapy at any time. Equally, if I feel that therapy is at any time not being effective, then I will discuss this with you and may recommend that we end the course of therapy.
