Be Creative!

One of the many things I love about my job is the freedom to be creative.  Recently, I've created a story featuring my puppy to help support a child learning prepositions; I've altered a nursery rhyme to help a child understand how to request and receive, and created short stories about an adult client's ancestral homeland to aid post-stroke reading.

One of my little clients loves unicorns, so our speech sound work involves a unicorn jumping over a rainbow to encourage sound blending!

Creating personalised resources not only engages my clients, produces results, and is much appreciated; it's also fun for me!
